The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is an operations center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. SRFA worked closely with the project architects to develop an art program that responded to the monumentality of the architecture of the facility, and the need to provide a humanizing element for staff. SRFA commissioned 8 site-specific artworks for the Operations Center’s major public spaces and three-story atrium. SRFA was responsible for the research and presentation of artists’ work and monitoring all aspects of fabrication through installation. For the private office spaces and conference rooms, historical and contemporary works on paper and photographs were acquired.
