Assured Guaranty is the leading provider of financial guaranty insurance. They guarantee scheduled principal and interest payments when due on municipal, public infrastructure and structured financings. They have long been innovators in their field and they wanted an art program that was in keeping with that image.
Collaborating with TPG’s lead designer, our role as art advisors for the Assured Guaranty art program was two-fold: to commission site specific works for the public spaces and to select works from their existing collection of contemporary photography for installation throughout their new offices. As we worked closely with senior management, we understood their sincere interest in contemporary art as well as their comfort and willingness to select art that reflected their standing as progressive leaders in their field.
