Art in Health Care

Suzanne Randolph Fine Arts knows how meaningful the arts can be to support and encourage healing. Our awareness of contemporary scientific studies and first hand experiences have demonstrated that by creating and being surrounded by the arts, patients experience a lower level of stress and have an increased ability to change their outlook and physiology.

SRFA continues to build upon years of experience in the visual arts by bringing innovative ways of weaving the arts into the fabric of a medical environment. We have found that the key is to be active listeners and observers to understand the needs of a varied audience, which includes individual patients, their families and friends, medical staff, medical school faculty and students and hospital administrators.  All seek to create an environment that works seamlessly to be supportive and provide the best patient care.

As fine art advisors, we seek to support each and every member of a medical community. We are actively engaged in structuring and implementing master plans and art policies, acquiring art for public spaces and patient areas, and coordinating arts programming all of which are tailored to meet the unique needs of healthcare environments.
